ABOUT US - Determined To Make A Difference
ANCHOR CHALLENGE is a registered non-profit organization with a vision to stage in South Africa, a unique, dynamic, multi-facetted sports event that we believe will grow to International status. Our objective also includes that of positively impacting our local community and supporting other NPOs who are working to improve our society and/or make our nation safer to live in. The three organizations that we currently have earmarked to support are:
Prison Broadcast Network - www.prisonbroadcast.org.za
S-cape who are part of Justice Acts - www.justiceacts.org
E-T-E (Empowerment Through Education) - www.e-t-e.org
In time, we will join forces with one of our supporting sponsors, Valley Christian Church - www.vcc.co.za in developing a Sports Training Academy (STA) whereby budding local and international athletes will be able to enroll for a 1 -3 year training program. The STA will provide young athletes with specialized sports training to develop them into their full potential. In addition, the STA plans to provide valuable life-training skills to all its academy students.
The management of Anchor Challenge also has a strong desire to provide part or full sponsorship for selected underprivileged applicants who normally would not be able to attend due to financial restraints.
In this way, as mentioned above, we believe Anchor Challenge will make a difference in positively impacting our local community.
